From Stone to Stone

Two artists.
A dialogue across time.

Directed by Sonia Hu and produced by StoneCube Art Association, From Stone to Stone documents Stone Chun Shi’s encounter with a stone sculpture by Jackson Pollock at the Jason McCoy Gallery, and the painting that emerged from his response.

Filmed on an iPhone during 2023–2024, the documentary follows an artistic process as it unfolds—connecting observation, chance, and the creation of a new work.
